Westend Hotel

stay was pleasant, good food, swimming pool can be kept clean. otherwise the property is awesome. it's far from station, but once you reach the hotel, it's a different world altogether.

Excellent property with good amenities. Swimming pool is nicely maintained and pool side dining is a wonderful experience. Location is close to matheran station - a pleasant 15 mins walk and there are multiple points very close to the hotel which can be covered on foot. The food options are excellent, a la carte was better than the standard buffet menu. Overall an excellent stay in natural surroundings.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is convenient, with just a 15-minute walk from Matheran railway station. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed with the ambience of the hotel—it had a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that set the tone for the stay. The food was another highlight of my visit. Every meal I had was delicious and well-prepared, making dining here a delightful experience. The staff were also courteous and attentive, adding to the positive atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel offers a variety of activities for guests to enjoy, including a swimming pool, table tennis, kids' play area, swings, badminton, carrom, a DJ, and even an open gym. There's something for everyone, making it perfect for families, groups, or solo travelers. The only downside was the swimming pool. Unfortunately, the temperature of the water wasn't maintained properly, and it was too cold to enjoy, no matter the time of day—whether in the afternoon, evening, or morning. This was a bit of a letdown since I was really looking forward to relaxing by the pool. Overall, despite the pool temperature issue, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

The experience was great. My daughter loved the playing area and my wife loved the swimming pool. I liked the overall maintenance of the property.

The hotel location is 0.9km from the Main Market. Talking about the hotel, cleanliness and food is awesome. Serenity at its best!
